improvement in hiring in various counties.
CIPT’s medical
transportation coordinator is having an impact as far as better communication
and education to larger medical facilities in their area.
Transportation Concerns: Pete Niccum brought up an issue that may cause some problems when asking IDOT for disposal of vehicles. A vehicle compliance inspector, Kirk Yaeger, was recently at CSS and told them that there are deadlines for removing unused vehicles from property. The deadline is a very short timeframe, especially when waiting for IDOT to release vehicles for disposal. Terri Finn will provide this information to Zoe Keller at IDOT and relay info that is received.
General Discussion: Handouts and resource
materials were addressed by Riley Anderson.
IDOT Updates-Award letters MIGHT go out from IDOT in November. DHS & HFS could have a meeting in the near future to discuss the problems that occurring for riders using MCO’s to schedule medical trips.
