Visit to East-West Gateway

Terri Finn and Jaime Blatti, HSTP Coordinators, made the trip to St. Louis October 11, 2011 to meet with transportation planner Rachael Pawlak at East-West Gateway. If coordination is our goal, then keeping in contact with Rachael is a priority. Monroe, St. Clair, and Madison County all have the opportunity to receive 5309, 5310, and 5311 from the MPO which affects regions 9 and 11 in Illinois. Mrs. Pawlak shared some vital information on current projects within those counties, collection of mapped data, updates in their HSTP Plan, and potential committee meetings that would be beneficial for Illinois HSTP Coordinators to attend in the future. We look forward to a continuous business relationship with East-West Gateway and thank Rachael for her time and support of transportation coordination.
