1.Call to Order
a.The meeting was called to order by Jim Schnipper and opened at 11:07am.
b.A sign-in sheet was passed around to those who did not sign in initially and introductions where made by all present.

2. Sub-Committee Report
a. All agencies were asked to bring brochures for the coordinators. These brochures will be used when conducting public outreach and education in the communities. All brochures were given to Jaime and Terri. Those who did not bring brochures will bring them to the next meeting.
b. Jaime updated Committee on the progress with the St. Clair County Survey. The first draft was sent out for review and all comments were reviewed. The final draft of the survey will be done within the month, approved by the sub-committee and the survey will be administers in June 2012.
c. Shelia, SCT and Bill, SCCTD updated the Committee on the progress of the St. Clair County Project. Currently the project is in the planning process phase exploring potential avenues of funding and feasibility. Recently, IDOT has been a part of the conversation and support the project. IDOT projects up to 2 years before implementation due to financial capabilities. Bill will take the next step with St. Clair County Board educating them on the potential project, the sub-committee will continue its efforts on the survey, and Shelia along with the coordinators will contact Ed Heflin, RTAC for guidance on the premier process if applicable.
3. Review and Discuss JARC and New Freedom Applications
a. A total of 8 projects were presented from the following agencies:

Jackson County Mass Transit: JARC
Jackson County Mass Transit: New Freedom
Shawnee Mass Transit: JARC
Shawnee Mass Transit: New Freedom
Jefferson County Comprehensive Service: JARC
Rural Medical Transportation Network: New Freedom
All voting members scored the projects on a secret ballot. The ballots were immediately handed to Jaime and Terri. The applicants would be notified in the next few days if the Committee endorsed their project or not.
4. General Discussion
a. CVP Call for Projects review. Jaime announced the CVP applications had to be at the coordinators office no later than April 6th, 2012. It was also noted that the coordinators would be absent the first week of April so if an agency needs technical assistance, please call by the end of March.
b. A review of the current Veterans Transportation Initiative was discussed. It was noted that the grant opportunity for the transit providers was due next month.
c. Travel Trainings continue to be a success. Jaime and Terri shared their success at Lawrence Crawford Association with Director Arnold Herman and staff. The coordinators continue to encourage agencies to participate in travel trainings and have been asked to contact Jaime or Terri with their requests.
d. Open discussion was made for anyone to add additional information.
e. Dates and locations were set for the next meetings. The special CVP meeting would be held via teleconference on April 24th, 2012 at 10am and the next quarterly meeting would be held Tuesday June 5th, 2012 in Shawnee. Location TBA.
