Quarterly Meeting Minutes
Call to
Order – The Region 9
quarterly HSTP conference call was called to order at 11:03 a.m. by Terri Finn.
Roll call was taken with 13 agency representatives on the call.
Approval
of September 2022 Meeting Minutes – Motion by Paul Klosterman, second by Gerald McDonald. Minutes
approved.
Guest
Speaker: Chestnut
Health Services-passenger assistance – Emily Schwagel spoke to the group
regarding the roles of the Metro Transit System Outreach Coordinators and the
partnership between St. Clair County Transit and Chestnut Health Services.
Their goal is, by riding the trains they can monitor and engage with
individuals who may be in need of help and get them to the resources they need
such as mental or behavioral health and substance abuse.
Regional
Plan – Strategies
for meeting needs & closing gaps – Terri Finn asked that agencies let her
know of anything they are doing towards filling the needs and closing gaps as
this information is reported to I.D.O.T.

Discussion

Terri
Finn shared that recently training for 5310 program reviews had been provided
for new coordinators.

Terri
Finn also updated that the CVP Apps are at this time waiting on procurement
costs to be determined and no award letters at this time, but possibly expected
in mid-March.

2023
meeting dates set as follows:
March 9th, 2023, to be hosted by South Central Transit
June 8th, 2023, to be held at Macoupin County Mass Transit,
Gillespie.
September 14th, 2023, to be held at Glen Carbon Senior Center.
December 14th, 2023 will be a conference call.
Terri Finn
reminded agencies that the March 9th meeting will include officer
elections for Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary.
