Introductions:
Everyone was welcomed to the meeting and thanked for attending. Everyone introduced themselves around the room.
General Discussion
1:06 PM Meeting Presentations
– Summary of topics and overview of HSTP/IDOT scope of work by Elton Trojniar
- CVP, JARC, New Freedom updates given by Lindsey Holtz. Lindsey said to expect around 18 months after an application is approved before getting a vehicle delivered. Although she said this figure was purely word of mouth and not official. There was also some discussion about CVP Vehicle depreciation procedures.
- Elton gave updates on the status of ICCT primer Processes currently going on in Southern Illinois. Counties in the primer included Effingham, Jersey, Calhoun, Green, and Macoupin.
- Elton presented information on Intercity Bus grants and showed a list of current proposed projects submitted to the State of Illinois Intercity Bus Committee. There was some discussion about what constituted an intercity bus trip. There were some definitions given by Bill Jung.
- 1:30 PM Presentation Continued
- Elton Trojniar presented ideas on funding sources including Senior Community Employment Program, Transit Advertising Contracts, Delta Regional Authority Grants, CDI loan programs, and Service Contracts. Elton Offered to email further information about these programs to anyone interested. there was some discussion about these programs and there limitations and regulations.

-Elton presented issues and current discussion on Rural Medical Transportation, including a summary of a recent meeting with the American Heart Association.
-2:10 PM Mobility Coach Presentation
- An introduction to IDOT’s new Mobility Coach and MY TRIP Program was given by Elton. Developed by the new Mobility Coaches is a research library with summaries of best practice reports, which is available on the internet at the web address: http://sites.google.com/site/icctclearinghouse/mobility-management/mobility-management-library
2:20 PM Announcements and membership
Lindsey Holtz announced her resignation as an HSTP Coordinator and thanked everyone for working with her over the past year.
