Introductions:
Everyone was welcomed to the meeting and thanked for attending.
General Discussion
1:05 PM Meeting Presentations
– Summary of topics and overview of HSTP/IDOT scope of work by Elton Trojniar
- CVP, JARC, New Freedom updates given by Lindsey Holtz
- Elton gave updates on the status of ICCT primer Processes currently going on in Southern Illinois. Counties in the primer included Effingham, Jersey, Calhoun, Green, and Macoupin.
- There was some discussion about the possibility of the primer in Madison and St. Clair County rural areas, the availability of funds, and the need for interested parties to initiate the process.
- Elton presented information on Intercity Bus grants and showed a list of current proposed projects submitted to the State of Illinois Intercity Bus Committee.
- 1:35 PM Presentation Continued
- Elton Trojniar presented ideas on funding sources including Senior Community Employment Program, Transit Advertising Contracts, Delta Regional Authority Grants, CDI loan programs, and Service Contracts. Elton Offered to email further information about these programs to anyone interested.

-Elton presented issues and current discussion on Rural Medical Transportation, including a summary of a recent meeting with the American Heart Association.
-2:00 PM Mobility Coach Presentation
- Eileen Sierra was introduced and asked for introductions around the room. Eileen then presented information about mobility management including definitions, state goals, and IDOT’s new Mobility Coach/MY TRIP program. MY TRIP includes a research library with summaries of best practice reports which is available on the internet at the web address: http://sites.google.com/site/icctclearinghouse/mobility-management/mobility-management-library
2:25 PM Announcements and membership
Lindsey Holtz announced her resignation as an HSTP Coordinator and thanked everyone for working with her over the past year.
A vote was called for to add Macoupin Center for the Developmentally Disabled as a voting member on the region 9 Human Services Transportation Committee. The motion was made by Peggy Dunn, and seconded by Anna Oestreich. The motion passed.
Debra Lyons and Heather Roberts were present from the Macoupin Center for the Developmentally Disabled.
